Owner Joey McGuirk brought his P.E.I. roots with him to Toronto when opening Oh Boy! Burger Market in November 2009. According to the Oh Boy! history lesson provided on their website, Joey delivers up that shared, familiar credo..."keep it simple". Emeril Lagasse was not Joey's inspiration. Mom and dad were, and their advice to serve "quality meat simply seasoned with salt and pepper" became the road map to Joey's culinary success. That is not to say that Oh Boy!'s menu is not varied and interesting.

A burger here, for instance is made from Wellington County hand selected Ontario Premium AAA Prime, traditionally raised and aged to perfection with no fillers or preservatives, served fresh and never frozen. All burgers are served on all natural sesame seed buns. Grilled hot dogs and a nicely appropriated vegetarian option round out some of the main culinary choices. Quality cheddar and peppered Monterey Jack cheeses compliment the 'toppings' selection that includes hot sautéed onions and mushrooms, as well as smoked and Canadian back bacon.

 

Oh Boy is about good food, good service and great times.  They look forward to serving you from the Patio Boxcar location this summer, open for all concert events, and 7 days a week as of late June.  So come and have a flippin’ good time…OH BOY!
