3.) What is Ripley’s Urban Rail Park?
Ripley’s Urban Rail Park is the largest urban rail park in Canada including a snow park and indoor skateboard park with activities for novice, intermediate and advanced riders.  

4.) Where can I purchase a day or season pass?
Passes may be purchased on-site at the Ripley’s Urban Rail Park at Guest Services, or on-line at www.ticketbreak.com.

5.) Can I rent equipment at the Park?
No, unfortunately, we do not rent any equipment.  Equipment, including boards, helmets, gloves, etc. may be purchased at our retail shop in Guest Services.  Helmets are mandatory at all times on the Snow and Skate Park.

6.) Why do I need a wristband?
Wristbands distinguish boarding participants from spectators and Skate boarders from snowboarders.  You will receive a wristband from Guest Services upon purchasing your day or season pass and signing your waiver.  Season pass holders must check in with Guest Services to receive a new wristband each time they visit the Park.

7.) How much does it cost to use the Skateboard or Snowboard Park?
A day pass to the Skateboard Park is $9.99 per day.  A day pass to the Snowboard Park is $19.99 per day.  Snowboard Park passes also include access to the Skate Park.  Season passes are $99.00 and allow you access to both Parks for the entire 8-week program!  All prices do not include G.S.T.

8.) What if I have never skateboarded or snowboarded before?
There are areas in both the Skate Park and Snow Park areas for novice riders.  You can also sign up for group clinics every Tuesday and work with one of our certified instructors.   We are running clinics for the beginner through to the novice rider.  Our certified instructors will help you get to the next level. 

9.) What safety measures are in place at the Park?
We are serious about the safety of our Parks and committed to providing you with a fun, safe and secure environment.  All of our Snow and Skate Park staff are experienced and certified boarders; spotters are posted throughout the Park to ensure guests do not use areas that they are not qualified to ride and to control any dangerous riders.  We have security personnel on site and a paramedic on standby at all times.

10.) What events are going on at the Park?
There are many exciting events going on all week including pro rider demos, weekly amateur competitions, best trick competitions and much more.  Events including concerts and themed parties are held Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights as part of the Rock ‘n Rail Music Series presented by Bud Light. 

11.) How do I purchase tickets for the Rock ‘n Rail Bud Light Music Series?

12.) Is parking available at the Park?
Yes.  Parking is available for $5 per day Monday through Friday; $ 7 per day before 9:00 pm on Saturday and Sundays and $ 15 per night after 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

13.) Can I purchase food and beverages at the Park?
Yes.  Our snack bar features great “base of the hill” food including burgers, fries, chili, home-made soup and baked potatoes.  Non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the Park and alcoholic beverages are available in 19+ restricted areas.  No outside food or beverage is permitted. 

14.) Where can I store my belonging while at the Park?
Lockers are available in the change rooms to store your helmets, snowboards and skateboards.  Bring a lock with you, or purchase one from Guest Services.

15.) What boarding equipment can I use in the Park?
Snowboards, Skis and Skateboards are the only equipment permitted for use in the Park.  No snowblades, in-line skates or BMX bikes are permitted. 

16.) Is there an age limit for people who can participate at the park?
No one under the age of 5 years old will be permitted to participate in activities in the skateboard or snowboard park.  Anyone under the age of 18 who wishes to skateboard or snowboard will require the signature of a parent in order to gain access to the facilities.

17.) Is there an admission fee for spectators?
There is no admission for spectators watching the snowboard or skateboard activities, however there are admission fees to all of the music series events.
