POLSON PIER ANNOUNCES SUMMER - AN ACTION PACKED SCHEDULE AND NEW PARTNERSHIPS

Toronto, ON, May 5, 2010 – Summer is just around the corner and Polson Pier is excited to announce a new partnership that will see Toronto’s largest waterfront patio serve up an exciting gourmet menu using locally sourced meat and fresh produce.  Oh Boy! Burger Market will officially open its second location, following up on the success of the restaurants Queen Street West location.  Amy Pataki of The Toronto Star named Oh Boy! Burger Market the #1 gourmet burger and Onion Rings in the city!

Polson Pier is also pleased to welcome the Empress of Canada, “Toronto’s floating venue.”  The Empress of Canada’s 500 capacity luxury ship will be boarding and disembarking from Polson Pier all summer long, providing its guests with the breathtaking views of Toronto’s city skyline that Polson Pier is famous for.

The summer season at Polson Pier will officially kick off with the 40,000 square foot patio opening (on weekends ONLY) May 24 long weekend and opening 7 days a week in late June.  Relax pool side in one of our day beds, enjoy the gourmet food, or sip on some of the best summer cocktails the city has to offer.

As the weather really heats up, beginning June 20 Polson Pier welcomes the DIP Ultra Pool Party which will be taking place each and every Sunday from 1 PM – 8 PM pool side.  This Vegas inspired pool party will showcase some great local dj talent along with special themed events; attracting sun worshippers, scenesters, and fashionistas alike.
