POLSON PIER - SUMMER'S HERE!
Skip the traffic - "Stay-cation" on Toronto's largest, fun-filled, fully-licensed patio
Toronto, ON, May 21, 2011– Summer is finally here and Polson Pier is ready for you! Toronto’s largest fully-licensed waterfront patio opens this Victoria Day Weekend! Come on down and enjoy a drink and a burger, watch the boats sail by, take a spin around our Go-Kart track, play a game on our outdoor pool, ping-pong and foosball tables, or play a game of beach volleyball on one of our nine regulation size courts.
We open at noon on Saturdays and Sundays, (weather-permitting) through June 25 when we will be open 7-days a week from noon to sundown. Our full-service Cabana Restaurant will be open Saturdays and Sundays starting June 11 and Wednesdays through Sundays for all of July and August.
As the weather really heats up, the Polson Pier Pool will open officially on June 27 with the inaugural DBL Pool Party - the place to relax poolside and enjoy a delicious, icy summer cocktail.
Polson Pier is also pleased to welcome back the Empress of Canada, “Toronto’s floating venue.” The Empress of Canada’s 500 capacity luxury ship will be boarding and disembarking from Polson Pier all summer long, providing its guests with the breathtaking views of Toronto’s city skyline that Polson Pier is famous for
Night time programming throughout the summer of 2011 is filled with exciting concerts and events at Sound Academy. We've just had Paul Simon and The Cars play, and coming up Sound Academy plays host to Panic at the Disco on June 5, Beady Eye on June 20, Ben Harper on July 5 and the John Butler Trio on July 16.
